Before your visit, here are a few useful details to help you plan your journey to The Crimson Chamber and make the most of your Father Christmas experience.
Where are you located?
You’ll find The Crimson Chamber at 38 Greenhill Street, Stratford-upon-Avon, right next door to Papa John’s.
Is there parking nearby?
The nearest car park is 35 Greenhill Street (CV37 6LE), just to the left of Foster Frames as you approach from central Stratford. The Station Car Park (CV37 6PL) and Arden Street Car Park (CV37 6PA) are both around a ten-minute walk away.
Are there toilets on site?
There are no toilet facilities within The Crimson Chamber, so please make use of nearby public conveniences before your visit.
How long does the experience last?
The grotto experience lasts approximately 25 minutes from start to finish.
Who is it suitable for?
The experience is designed for children aged 3 to 10. If you have older children it is better to look at our sister event at Magic Alley.
It is not possible to bring children over 10 to this event this year.
Babies under 1 may be carried through but do not receive a gift and must still be counted in your group total.
For safety reasons, the attraction is not recommended for children aged 1–2, as the artificial snow used inside poses a choking hazard. If you do bring a younger child then you will need to supervise them at all times.
Please do not put babies down in the snow
Do adults receive a present?
No – only children receive a small token gift. The event focuses on meeting Father Christmas and playing in the snow, rather than the value of the present itself.
How do group tickets work?
Tickets are sold for groups of up to 4 or up to 6 people.
If you have 2–4 guests, please book a group of 4.
If you have 5–6 guests, please book a group of 6.
Unfortunately, groups larger than 6 cannot be accommodated in a single time slot.
Babies count in the numbers – so do count all your humans please
Can I get a refund or exchange my booking?
Refunds are only available if you selected Refund Protection at the time of booking.
Exchanges may be possible up to 48 hours before your booked slot, provided there is availability.
What if I arrive late?
If you arrive more than 5 minutes late, entry cannot be guaranteed and tickets are non-refundable. Please call 01789 638 824 if you are running late so we can advise.
Can I take photos or video?
You are welcome to take photos during the experience, but video recording is not permitted anywhere inside the attraction.
Is the experience accessible?
At present, The Crimson Chamber is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs.
There is nowhere to leave a pushchair, so please avoid bringing one. Entry may be refused if one is brought for safety reasons.
Are carer tickets available?
No carer tickets are not available at this time
Can I bring my dog?
Although dogs are very welcome in the retail area, they cannot enter the attraction. The artificial snow used inside may be harmful if ingested, so dogs are not permitted for their own safety.
Can I exchange my tickets between The Crimson Chamber and Magic Alley?
No — the two experiences are separate events with their own settings and Father Christmas performers. Tickets for one venue cannot be exchanged or transferred to the other.
Each visit is a unique Christmas experience, created by the same team to offer families different ways to enjoy the festive season.
